How long does the clean take?
Most indoor split system cleans take around 45–90 minutes depending on the condition of the unit and the level of build-up inside.
Is it messy?
No. I protect the surrounding area and use a cleaning bag to control dirty runoff while I clean the internal components.
Will this remove the musty smell?
Often, yes, when the smell is coming from dust, grime, moisture or mould-like buildup inside the accessible components. If the odour has another source, further investigation may be needed.
How often should I clean my split system?
Around 12 months is a useful guide for many homes. Book sooner if you notice musty smells, visible mould-like buildup, dust from the vents, heavy use or reduced airflow.
