What Most Customers Ask First

These are the questions most people ask when they first realise their split system may have hidden mould, grime or airflow issues.

Still deciding?

Not sure which clean your system needs?

Most homeowners choose based on smell, visible mould, airflow and how long it has been since the unit was properly cleaned.

Do I pay when I book?

Your booking flow runs through the product page and checkout. If you have configured checkout to book without upfront payment, the page still works as the central booking path.

Which clean should I choose?

Choose the standard split system clean for routine cleaning, Mould & Allergen Deep Clean for smell or visible build-up, and Air Restore+ for heavy contamination, long-neglected units or families wanting the most complete clean.

Can I add outdoor unit cleaning?

Yes. Outdoor unit cleaning is an add-on for the outside condenser. It is useful when the unit has dust, leaves, debris or restricted airflow around the coil.

02

Cleaning Process

What parts of the split system do you clean?

Depending on the service selected, we clean the filters, covers, coils, fan barrel, drain tray and airflow path. The goal is to clean the internal areas where grime, dust and mould build up.

Is this just a filter clean?

No. A filter clean only addresses the easiest visible part. Our service focuses on internal cleaning where the real build-up usually sits.

How long does a clean take?

A single indoor unit often takes around 45 to 90 minutes. Heavier build-up, add-ons or multiple units can take longer.

Do you test the system after cleaning?

Yes. We check the system after cleaning so you can see the result and feel confident the unit has been reassembled and tested properly.

03

Mould, Smells & Air Quality

Why does my air conditioner smell musty?

Musty smells often come from mould, bacteria, moisture and grime inside the unit. Queensland humidity can make this worse, especially in systems used heavily through summer.

Can cleaning help with allergies?

Cleaning can help reduce dust, mould and debris inside the airflow path. It is not medical treatment, but many homes choose deep cleaning to reduce what is circulating through the system.

Why do split systems get mouldy in Queensland?

Split systems create cool, damp internal surfaces. In humid Brisbane and Moreton Bay conditions, that moisture can combine with dust and organic build-up, creating ideal conditions for mould.

Will the smell go away after cleaning?

In many cases, yes, especially when the smell is coming from internal grime, mould or stagnant moisture. If the smell is caused by another issue, we will let you know what we can see.

04

Service Areas

Where do you service?

We focus on North Brisbane and Moreton Bay, including suburbs around Chermside, Aspley, Redcliffe, North Lakes, Caboolture and surrounding areas.

What if my suburb is not listed?

If you are close to our service area, contact us first. We may still be able to help depending on scheduling and travel time.

Do you service south of the Brisbane River?

Our core focus is North Brisbane and Moreton Bay. If your suburb is outside that area, check the service areas page or contact us before booking.

05

Safety & Home Prep

Do I need to be home?

Someone should be available to provide access, confirm the unit location and answer any basic questions. You do not need to stand with us while we work.

What should I do before you arrive?

Please clear the area under the indoor unit where possible and make sure we can access the unit safely. We bring the cleaning equipment and protection needed for the job.

Is it safe for homes with kids or pets?

We work carefully and protect the surrounding area. If you have young children, pets or sensitivities, let us know before the appointment so we can be extra mindful while working.

Will water drip everywhere?

No. We use a cleaning bag to catch runoff and help keep the surrounding wall, floor and furniture protected.

06

Aftercare & Maintenance

How often should I clean my split system?

For many homes, every 6 to 12 months is a good guide. Homes with pets, allergies, high use, bedrooms or musty smells may need more frequent cleaning.

How do I keep it cleaner after the service?

Clean the filters regularly, keep the area around the unit clear and book internal cleaning before heavy build-up returns.

Can cleaning improve cooling performance?

When airflow is restricted by dust, grime or dirty coils, cleaning can help the unit move air more effectively and cool more efficiently.
